Tasting Notes: This is the flagship wine and at the same time the pride and joy of Castello del Terriccio. Its name comes from the place where wolves once attacked their prey from hiding. The Bordeaux blend, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, presents an intense, rich, and extraordinarily deep bouquet, with a magnificent fruity aroma of blackcurrant and wild blackberries that blends wonderfully with balsamic scents of eucalyptus and Mediterranean curry. Enchanting, seductive, and velvety on the palate, it appears dense and juicy, with a superb tannic texture. Its balsamic and warm aromatics are accompanied by a menthol freshness and a mineral vein. A wine with great personality, which resonates elegantly and for a long time on the finish. Thanks to its consistently high quality, Lupicaia receives 3 Glasses in Gambero Rosso almost every year.
