TICINO

Azienda Mondò
Even before the boom of Merlot in Ticino, Ticinese farmers and winemakers cultivated their vineyards on hills and mountainsides. The grapes still came from indigenous varieties, native to Ticino. Just as for Mario and Nunzia Rossi, winemaking was mainly for their own consumption, or the harvested grapes were delivered to the then Cantina Sociale di Giubiasco. Today, Giorgio and Andrea Rossi cultivate 8 hectares divided into 40 plots. The work in the vineyard has remained essentially manual, which requires a lot of motivation and perseverance. This approach allows them to care for each vine individually and to obtain excellent quality grapes that reflect the Rossi brothers' wines.

Huber Vini SA
The Huber family's business is located in a typical 17th-century Malcantone house on the sunny hillside of Monteggio. Their wines are born from family passion, and they are dedicated to production, from the vineyard to sales, to best express their philosophy and maintain a privileged relationship with customers. Today, the business is managed by their son Jonas.

Tenuta San Giorgio
Property of the family since 1940, initially as a private estate with gardens, fruit trees, and vineyards. In 1989, Urs, Mike's father, founded the company, naming it after the San Giorgio hill. Mike then focused from the outset on producing authentic wines of the highest quality, characterized by varietal and territorial typicality.

Terre d'Autunno
Their philosophy is reflected in their wines and has opened a new chapter in the Ticinese wine world. The dedicated work they carry out primarily consists of refining their wines in their own barrels, thus offering consumers a product with high added value, where they can savor a wine aged in wood grown not far from home.

Theilervini
Malcantone winemakers who cultivate 5 hectares of hillside vineyards. The vineyard is worked manually without the aid of tractors. They produce approximately 18,000 bottles, mostly of Merlot, and their winery is located in Cademario, right near our Enoteca.

Zündel
50 years ago, Myra and Manuel's parents, Anne and Christian, chose this land to create something beautiful, real, and lasting. With the idea of closed-cycle agriculture favoring soil vitality and respecting all its components, it evolved into an organic and biodynamic farm. In 2019, the children took over the management and, with great love and attention to tradition and the pioneering work done by their parents, set out to continue producing wines that reflect the characteristics of their birthplace: marked by finesse, persistence, and character.
