Aging: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, aging in used oak barrels (tonneaux).
Tasting Notes: A wine with a garnet red to intense garnet color, with a full and earthy aroma of violets and blackberries. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, with notes of blackcurrant, dried fruit, chocolate, green pepper, cedar, and tobacco. Particularly suitable with flavorful meat dishes, game, and aged, spicy cheeses.
